Counting Crows is an American rock band formed in Berkeley, California, in 1991. The band consists of Adam Duritz (lead vocals, piano), David Bryson (guitar, vocals), Charlie Gillingham (keyboards, accordion), Dan Vickery (guitar, vocals), Chris Martin (bass, vocals), Jim Bogios (drums, percussion), and Matt Malley (guitar, vocals).
Counting Crows released their debut album, August and Everything After, in 1993. The album was a critical and commercial success, and it spawned the hit singles "Mr. Jones" and "Round Here." The band has since released seven more albums, all of which have been successful.
