Did You Know? In 2001, POPOLOGY® was an early concept of a media philosophy after my grand experiences on set with Fortune 500 Brand Agencies, and Top Global Music Artists shaping content for the best of the best!
Today, as the digital landscape evolves, media consumption and dissemination shape how we engage with the world. POPOLOGY® offers a unique perspective on media literacy by exploring both singular and plural interpretations of "popular."
At its core, POPOLOGY® is the "science of popular." It examines the mechanisms driving popularity, the impact of media messages, and the role of individual agency in shaping public discourse.
Singular "Popular": Focuses on individual preferences, empowering users to critically analyze and select media that aligns with their values, fostering intentional and reflective media consumption.
Plural "Popular": Examines collective popularity driven by data and societal norms, providing insights into media consumption patterns and equipping individuals to navigate the digital age with critical thinking.
In 2018 POPOLOGY® Founded its Software Development Company with Dan Rush to bridge the gap between individual choices and collective phenomena, offering a holistic approach to media literacy education and commercial platform bundling. Our most recent Founding Partners Oscar Bjers as CEO, & we even have our first USPTO patent with 29 system & method claims thanks to Louis Heidelberger.
By defining "popular" in both philosophic and science terms, POPOLOGY® fosters an informed and empowered society, illuminating the mechanics of mass popular, and championing the significance and prioritization of individual agency, (thanks to blockchain technology).
